“Suits for suits is about us building bridges from a traditional corporate symbol to open the doors for kids around the world to see through the world of imagination, and what is possible.” Jack Manning Bancroft - AIME Founder.
With no brief and no rules, the project is all about pure imagination, which is AIME’s ethos and each of the artists are free to get as creative as possible. This ongoing global project aims to solve a challenge and ReclAIME the future with M.J Bale & AIME auctioning the suits to help fund the work AIME do in fighting for imagination, and for a fairer world.
“The AIME Disco suit is a creative piece made using colour pigmented resin as well as recycled material. For the purpose of this charity event I chose to approach the work with a childish craft style. Using the bright colour that resonates with the 70’s discotheque dance floors and mirroring reflection of the disco ball, the suit brings a joyful vibe to the room.”
Jeremy Kay is a French born resin artist currently based in the Sydney paradise bubble of Bondi Beach. His work could be categorised as abstract expressionism, however he is known to be on a constant experimental evolution. With a radical inclination toward mixing new mediums, his technique is fascinating to observe. Rooted in the psychedelic and dreamlike feel, Jeremy is perfecting working in "flow state". All pieces are almost completely improvised on the spot, giving birth to unique chemical reactions and unexpected effects. The exploration of colours often reenact the artist's own visual interpretation of music and emotions. His works offer it's owners a window to another world, a chance to escape the harsh platitude of our reality.
